Client News: GSP Hall of Fame Batting Cages opens its doors
The grand opening of GSP Hall of Fame Batting Cages in St Clairsville, OH has finally arrived this week. The 23,000-square foot facility will have eight Iron Mike indoor batting cages, a large astro turf, and tunnels to hit golf balls into.
This has been a dream of center owners, Jerry and Sheila Pintarich, who both have a great passion for baseball and softball. Sheila was a big fast pitch softball player in Dayton and Jerry played baseball all of his life.
When Jerry reached high school he realized that there were some aspects of his game that he needed to work on, but had nowhere to train. "There was nothing like this around back then where you could go and get instruction, and there hasn't been until now," he explained. He realized that this was something they needed in the Ohio Valley.
"We want to make this a place where everybody feels at home," Jerry explains. "We want it to be their facility, not our facility. It's open to everyone in the Ohio Valley." The facility will also rent cages or tunnels to individuals, teams, leagues and anyone off the street that wants to try their luck.
Hall of Fame Batting Cages is a new user of EZFacility management software. The center utilizes it to manage memberships, cages and fields, instructor schedules and much more.
