CLIENT NEWS: Loudoun Soccer Announces Partnership with Inova Loudoun Hospital

Loudoun Soccer is proud to announce a health and wellness partnership with Inova Loudoun Hospital. As part of the partnership, Inova Loudoun Hospital has provided the teams with first aid kits and will help train coaches on a variety of heath related subjects including concussion awareness.

The hospitals Mobile Health Unity will be at several of Loudoun Soccer events throughout the year offering educational information, interactive displays, as well as a cooling and first aid station.

"This is an opportunity for us to work directly with one of the largest youth sports organizations in our community and help educate and equip people who can have a significant impact on the health of the 7,500 children that participate in Loudoun Soccer," said H. Patrick Walters, CEO Inova Loudoun Hospital.

Loudoun Soccer is Virginia's largest soccer program, serving youth between the ages of 3 to 18 years since 1976. They are very dedicated to partnering with local government and communities to provide programs, facilitates, resources and expertise to make soccer fun, safe and accessible to all players regardless of gender, social and economic background or playing ability.

"This is a natural fit for our organizations," commented Tom Thomas, Loudoun Soccer Board President. "As Virginia's largest youth soccer program we want to make sure we are offering our coaches the best and most current information on medical topics, especially on concussions. Inova Loudoun Hospital has physicians that specialize in caring for children and we are looking forward to working with them."

Loudoun Soccer is a new user of EZFacility management software. The facility utilizes it to manage group registrations, league scheduling, tournament management and much more.
