Title Boxing Club to Open Hundreds of Branches
A new fitness trend might be exploding onto the boutique studio scene. Earlier this year, Title Boxing Club entered the franchise segment, opening 85 locations and developing more than 350 new locations nationwide. The club offers total body boxing and kickboxing sessions.
With workouts like “The Power Hour,” designed specifically for the brand and focused on providing interval training for optimal work-to-ratio effects, Title Boxing Club is finding popularity especially among women aged 30 to 45. The hope, according to John Rotche, president of the club, is that targeting a specific niche in the fitness industry will enable to company to build a solid following.
Hugh McEvoy, of the fitness and club management software provider EZFacility, in Bethpage, New York, notes that workout studios with a single focus represent a growing trend and provide a workout experience different from that available at a larger gym or sports club. “There are numerous advantages to both kinds of fitness centers,” he says. “It’s a matter of what appeals to individuals personally, of each person finding out what kind of workout environment is going to work best for him or her.”
Meanwhile, Title Boxing Club is slated to open twelve to fifteen new clubs per month, and to continue seeking the attention of women 30 and up, among others.
