Earlier this quarter, I had the opportunity to attend the Pyxis AI Summit in Clearwater, Florida. This summit centered on how software companies are integrating AI across their organizations. It was a valuable chance to step back, look at where the industry is heading, and think critically about how those insights apply to what we’re building at EZFacility.
One theme came through clearly: AI adoption is moving beyond experimentation.
The companies seeing meaningful results aren’t just testing AI tools in isolation but they are also embedding AI directly into their day-to-day workflows. From product planning and development to customer support and operations, AI is becoming part of how work gets done, not just an add-on.
That shift is already underway at EZFacility.
Building with AI at the Core
On the development side, we’re adopting an AI-driven development lifecycle (AI-DLC). This approach uses AI to support and accelerate every stage of the software process—from generating requirements and documentation to planning, development, and release.
The goal is simple: move faster from idea to execution while improving clarity, consistency, and overall quality along the way.
And we’re already putting that approach into practice.
Introducing AI Smart Scheduling for EZLeagues
One of the initiatives currently in development is an AI-powered Smart Scheduling Assistant for EZLeagues.
This feature is designed to help facilities automatically generate optimized schedules—handling league matchups, venue assignments, and time slots while factoring in preferences, availability, historical data, and operational constraints.
The result: fewer scheduling conflicts, better facility utilization, and significantly less manual effort for your team.
AI Beyond Engineering
While development is a natural starting point, our focus on AI goes far beyond engineering.
We’re actively exploring how AI can enhance support, training, operations, and product experiences across the platform. The opportunity is to reduce repetitive work, improve responsiveness, and ultimately deliver better outcomes for our customers.
From Feature to Foundation
Another key takeaway from the summit was the distinction between companies that treat AI as a feature and those that treat it as infrastructure.
We’re committed to the latter.
This isn’t about adding an “AI checkbox” to the product—it’s about thoughtfully integrating AI where it creates real value: saving time, reducing friction, and helping you get more out of EZFacility.
What’s Next
We’re still early in this journey, but the foundation is being built now. As we continue evolving our internal processes and introducing new AI-powered capabilities, we’ll keep sharing updates on what’s changing—and what it means for you.
More to come.
